HEF seeks volunteers for Charger Challenge
The Hamilton Education Foundation is seeking the help of families and community members throughout the district as it establishes a new and exciting event to replace Dozer Day.
“Charger Challenge” is slated for Sunday, Sept. 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lisbon Community Park. Read more
The event is a family fun 4k Mud Run with 14 obstacles. A “Kids Challenge” for youngsters aged 6 to 10 years old is part of the event. Read more about the event and register at www.Active.com under Charger Challenge.
HEF is an important asset to the Hamilton community, granting more than $1 million over the last 21 years to students and educators. Proceeds from Charger Challenge will continue to provide financial support and other resources to enhance, enrich and extend educational opportunities for Hamilton School District students.
Volunteers are needed for registration, directing runners, helping out on the “Kids Challenge,” setup and take down, just to name a few. Organizations that provide volunteers will get a 4x6 vendor’s table to sell concessions or items for their group’s own fundraising.
In addition to volunteer opportunities, various levels of sponsorship are available for businesses and organizations. Get in on the ground level of this great community event.
